Three decades of context
The database is part of a larger system.
Darin's experience reaches from database design and programming to the servers, applications, identity systems, networks, and business processes that depend on the data. That breadth matters when the first error message points at SQL but the actual failure lives somewhere else.
He has designed and maintained database-driven business systems, supported inventory and order operations, managed Windows environments, built reporting and tracking applications, troubleshot critical dependencies, and migrated a ten-server environment—including SQL Server—to AWS.
His deepest specialty is Microsoft SQL Server. He also brings practical problem-solving and mentoring experience across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database platforms.
